About Kommeno Bay
Kommeno is in the northeast of the island, 12 km from Corfu Town, the Port and the Airport. The central location of the area allows quick access to both west and east of the island. Within walking distance, there are three restaurants-bars, Apovrado, Panorama and Mylos. The closest supermarkets are only a short drive away. Car Hire is recommended, as public transport in Corfu is limited and the best way to explore the island is by car. Our closest bus stop is 900m away, where you can catch a bus either towards the beach of Dassia and Ipsos, or to Corfu town. The local beaches and their restaurants, bars and other facilities can easily be accessed by car: Dassia (4km) Ipsos (6km) and Barbati (8km) are a short drive away. The town of Corfu can be reached within 25min by car. The west coast of the island, where beaches like Paleokastritsa and Sidari can be found is also easily accessible by car and Aqua Land water park is 12km away of Kommeno Bella Vista Apartments in Corfu.
